Wanda and Joey's Homepage

Welcome!

This is Joey, the main focus of my life. The main thing people say about him is that he is very happy. Wouldn't you be if you had your mother all to your self when you were his age? Joey says his mom is Serena the Golden Hind from the show Hercules. I don't think that I look much like her but click here to see a picture of me.

Here are some creations of mine. My hobby is ceramics. These items were hand built--not made from molds. Of course my favorite piece broke when something exploded in the kiln. I will just have to make a new one when I have time or when Joey is old enough to play in the mud with mom.

Now for some fun... Elvis meets the Black Widow...

Here is Joey dressed as Elvis on Halloween. I dressed as a Black Widow Spider (some would say that the costume suits me well, but we won't go there). Click here to see Elvis Meets The Black Widow.

"I feel like chicken tonight..."

I asked Joey what he wanted to be for Halloween. He answered "Chicken!" Since he was sitting in his highchair at the time, I thought that he meant that he wanted chicken for dinner. During that week he kept pointing out every chicken he saw on TV. I finally got the message when I asked him once again what he wanted to be for Halloween. He said sharply "A chicken, Momma!" So here we are. Just us chickens!

Joey is a Hercules and Xena fan. He wants to be just like the Hercules that Kevin Sorbo portrays. He wanted me to dress as Xena. I found hundreds of excuses not to. Here is Joey in his Hercules costume. He was upset because he feared he was the only one dressed up that year (after all, Mom didn't dress up).

I didn't dress up the year before; but I sure did the next year (1998). Unfortunately, there was a luncheon I had to attend and no one else was dressed up. I had fun though. The speaker at this luncheon showed another creation of mine which was a giant mosquito, originally made for decoration for Joey's Jumanji birthday party. The speaker was moving to Alaska; I hear they have huge mosquitos. I can't imagine what it was like for him as he was speaking at the podium to a crowd of people and one dragon. I am so glad the man has a sense of humor... Here we are as dragons.

To my surprise, Joey found a Batman costume. I didn't have to make a costume for him. I dressed as a bat.
